Kabarak University

Kabarak University logo

Led at Kabarak University by principal investigator Dr. Moses Thiga, Mama's Hub digitises antenatal records and pairs expectant mothers with a smartwatch that tracks blood pressure, heart rate and temperature. Readings reach nurses and primary caregivers so early signs of pre-eclampsia can be acted on. Google featured the project on its Open Health Stack.

  • 02Readings relayed to primary caregivers and nurses
  • 03Built on Google's Open Health Stack (Android FHIR SDK)
